IMSA Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge Sets 12-Race Schedule 


The Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge is a door-to-door showcase for the latest in international and American-made high performance sports cars, coupes and sedans straight from the dealer showroom floor, with major modifications permitted only in the areas of safety and competition. The Continental Tire Challenge consists of two classes – Grand Sport (GS) and the smaller Street Tuner (ST) class. All classes run on Continental Tires, with large fields the norm.

Up For Grabs: The Continental Tire Challenge ST Class

Six drivers and three teams have scored an identical 212 points with two ST races remaining in this year's GRAND-AM Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge. Jesse Combs, one of the championship contenders, doesn't mince words. Race Epic / Murillo racing is excited to head to Elkhart Lake Wisconsin, Road America for round 8, the VISITFLORIDA.com Continental Tire Sports car challenge.   The team is consistently strong and has 5 top ten finishes in the previous 7 rounds. The #56 Atomic Capital, Mosing Motor Cars BMW has jumped to 3rd in the points following a nail biting race at the brickyard. While running 4th driver Jeff Mosing passed two cars after the restart, just as the final yellow dropped ending the race in caution. Giving the team a second place finish. Read more
